Refund & Returns Policy (UK)

We hope you adore your new purchase, but we understand that sometimes an item may not be quite right. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about returning an online order in line with UK regulations.

Online Returns Policy

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of recieving your order.
  • Returns received outside this timeframe cannot be accepted.
  • Items must be returned in their original condition - unworn, unwashed, free from odours or marks, and with all original tags and packaging attached.
  • Sales and clearance items are non-returnable, unless the item is faulty. You must email info@thelittleboutiquecompany.co.uk advising of the fault with photographic evidence within 14 days.
  • For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on pierced jewellery, cosmetics, socks, gloves, or hair accessories.
  • If your order included a free promotional item, and you return 50% or more of your order, the free item must also be returned.

How to return your order

  1. Repack your item(s) securely with all original labels, tags and packaging.
  2. Include a note with your order number so we can identify your return.

Please see our returns policy above for certain items, as refunds will not be given should they not comply with our returns policy.

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for their return postage. We strongly recommend using a tracked or signed‑for service (e.g., Royal Mail Signed For) and retaining proof of postage. We cannot be held liable for returns lost in transit.

Items Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds will not be issued for items returned in an unsaleable condition, including but not limited to:

  • Makeup or tan marks
  • Perfume or cigarette odours
  • Strong scents
  • Evidence of wear
  • Alterations
  • Items that have been washed

Any sale items returned to us will be held for 30 days for collection. After this period, uncollected items will be donated to charity.

Orders with Free Delivery

If you qualified for free UK delivery by spending over £75 and return your entire order, a £3.95 fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the original delivery and processing costs.

Refund Processing Time

Please allow up to 14 days from the date we receive your return for it to be processed. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take up to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.

If you have not received your refund after 30 days, please contact us with your proof of postage.

Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges online.

Incorrect or Faulty Items

We’re very sorry if you’ve received an incorrect or faulty item. Please contact us at info@thelittleboutiquecompany.co.uk before returning anything.

When emailing, please include:

  • Your order ID
  • The item name
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the fault

Faults must be reported within 14 days of purchase. All items undergo quality checks before dispatch.
